  2. What can one say? I think I am a grammar nerd and am probably in desperate need of a semi-colonic irrigation.
    All the very best. Kris.

    2. My editor always deletes half of my semi colons; I love semi colons (yes I know I put them all over the place but I’m spot on with everything else.) Love semi colons so much I belong to a small writing group named the semi colons. ( yes I named us). In fun my husband says we’re a half assed group – wonder how long it took him to make that up!

      1. Like I said … a semi-colonic irrigation is the only answer. Should put a full-stop to your problem.

      2. I’ll think about that …

      3. Ha ha ha. You’re a scream, Judith. I don’t promise all my grammar and punctuation are spot on, but I know when I see both done wrong. 😦

      4. See what I did?
I know when I see them done incorrectly.

    1. Ah Tess and Deborah, I’m guessing you didn’t spot my hanging hyphen then?

      1. Ooh, I tend to think that sort of thing is a slip of the finger – I know I make enough of them!

      2. Just showing off really. I’ve been telling my classes about hyphens, hanging hyphens, Em dashes and En dashes and when to use them. Some people would tell me to get a life, I think! hahaha

      1. Thanks Deb. I thought that was weird. Every time I share your posts to my google page and try to ‘plus’ you on it, your name won’t come up, I’ll investigate. 🙂

  9. Interesting on the age group – wouldn’t think 18-14 year old’s would be grammar nerds considering what I’ve seen them write.
