Very happy tonight with the results so far of my celebratory sale
Desprite Measures is knocking at the door of the Amazon Top 100 in the highly competitive Urban and Paranormal category 😀
Fingers crossed it continues to rise.
Once THE PRINCE’S MAN got into the Top 100 (Epic Fantasy) it stayed there for almost 6 months – nothing breeds success like success (and Amazon algorithms…)
I’d like to be able to track which ads worked best, but I’m not sure how many of the sites will provide this information. I took out 7 paid ads, totalling around $50, plus as many free ads as I could find.
I do know, based on promos I’ve run in the past, that the likely success factor here was scoring an ad with ENT (Ereader News Today). I have yet to try for a Bookbub ad – that might come later, when I have more books out to benefit from any knock on results. Always assuming I can get in with them; not easy, I know.
I’ve tried Desprite Measures with ENT before, but they refused it last time. It has a few more reviews now, and still a high star rating (4.5), so I’m guessing that might be why they took it this time.
So I’ve hit the facebook promo sites tonight, and boosted my post about the sale – first time for trying this, so let’s see how it works out.
