What are you #reading #Wednesdays?

www_wednesdays4

To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…
• What are you currently reading?
• What did you recently finish reading?
• What do you think you’ll read next?

What am I currently reading?

spirit heir

This is the sequel to The Shadow Soul, which I read and reviewed a few months ago – here – after doing the same for the prequel novella, The Golden Cage. These are stunningly awesome original fantasies, and I was thrilled to be approached directly by the author to receive an ARC of this one, on the strength of my reviews.

My review for this one will be out, and incorporated in the release blitz on Halloween!

What did I just finish reading?

deb

That would be Deborah Blake’s Wickedly Dangerous, which I also reviewed recently, here. Magical fun and ecological concerns close to my heart, this is an update on the classic Russian folktale of the Baba Yaga.

What will I read next?

Henge

That’s currently a toss up between the next book on my review list, in time for the blog tour: YA fantasy Henge, described as: Modern-day Camelot. Where knights no longer carry swords. Magic is dangerous. And those who seek control are not to be trusted.

Sounds cool, huh?

succubus gift

Or it might be ‘The Succubus Gift’, an Urban Fantasy I bought about a year ago and have never gotten around to. I’ve just had an invite to participate in a tour for this one, so I might use this as the incentive to get my act in gear and go read it

How about you, folks? What are your three?
