The “Three” Questionnaire, for Writers

I just came across the blog of Jodie Llewellyn and stole, er, asked her permission, to use this quiz that she’d adapted from yet another blog (Girl in a Basement). It looked like fun, so here are my answers to THE THREE.

THREE THINGS ABOUT YOURSELF:

  1. I write fiction as Deborah Jay, and non-fiction under my real name of Debby Lush
  2. I live in the UK, on the south coast much of the time but I also have a lovely house in the Scottish Highlands
  3. I train competition dressage horses and riders for a living

THREE THINGS THAT SCARE YOU:

  1. Heights – although I enjoy flying
  2. Walking alone in the dark – my imagination is way too fertile
  3. Fire – I reckon I was burned at the stake in a former life

THREE OF YOUR EVERYDAY ESSENTIALS:

  1. My car – I do way too much driving, but it enables me to earn a living.
  2. My Jack Russel, Frodo. who travels everywhere with me.
  3. My laptop – how did we manage before the internet?

THREE OF YOUR FAVORITE HOBBIES:

  1. Reading
  2. Writing
  3. Riding my lovely horses, Merlin and Alfie

THREE CAREERS YOU’RE CONSIDERING/YOU’VE CONSIDERED:

  1. Veterinary medicine – glad now that I didn’t make it; not enough free time for writing
  2. Teacher – doing that, though not quite how I’d envisaged it
  3. Actress – I’ve always been a performer at heart
